Have you just found out about PMDD?

Well, let me say CONGRATULATIONS for finally having your PMDD light bulb moment!

I remember my PMDD light bulb moment...I was sat scrolling through Instagram and saw a post from a friend of a friend, which listed the symptoms. As I sat in bed, mentally checking off the symptoms, which I’d lived with for so long, I realised that it wasn’t just me who felt this way.

And for the first time, I thought that maybe I wasn’t crazy, selfish or any of the other things I’d been telling myself. I knew that maybe life was about to get just a little bit easier, now that I had a name for what I had been going through.

Awareness of PMDD has really grown in the last few years, but there’s still so much work to be done, and the learning process can be a real minefield. And so, with this in mind I’ve created a handy guide to help you learn the basics of Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder, and everything you need to know about what to do next.
